Sep 2025: Metron Inc.,* Reston, Virginia, is awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the "Research, Development and Transition in Support of Mission Planning" effort. This contract focuses on enhancing the Navy's mission planning capabilities by integrating advanced Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) data and probabilistic risk assessments. The total cumulative value of this contract, including a 60-month base period with no options, is $9,953,224. Fiscal 2025 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $988,917 are obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
