DOD Announcements

Aug 2017: Lockheed Martin Corp., Rotary Mission and Systems, Liverpool, New York is being awarded a $25,246,336 firm-fixed-priced, cost-plus-fixed-fee line contract for the development and production of a digital receiver exciter for the AN/TPS-59A(V)3 Radar system.  This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the maximum dollar value of the contract to $46,709,617.  Work will be performed in Liverpool, New York (85 percent); Atlanta, Georgia (10 percent); and Clearwater, Florida (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2021.  Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation (Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $130,000 will be obligated at the time of award and will expire the end of the current fiscal year.  Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation (Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $25,116,336 will also be obligated at the time of award but will not expire the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract is a sole-source acquisition in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  The Marine Corps System Command, Quantico, Virginia, is the contracting activity (M67854-17-C-6002).
