Mar 2023: Radiance Technologies Inc.,* Huntsville, Alabama, has been awarded a $14,947,173 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Phase III of the Secure Advanced Framework for Simulation and Modeling (SAFE-SiM) program. This contract provides for Phase III continuation on Radiance Technologies Inc.’s Phase II research results, which is critical to meeting the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's joint all domain theater-wide analysis goals; specifically, development and delivery of the integrated SAFE-SiM system deployable as part of the hardware-agnostic Modeling and Simulation Integration Environment Infrastructure (MSIE) as code. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama (40%); Dayton, Ohio (20%); San Diego, California (5%); Boston, Massachusetts (5%); Rome, New York (10%); Basking Ridge, New Jersey (10%); and Albuquerque, New Mexico (10%), with an expected completion date of November 2024. Fiscal 2023 research, development, test, and engineering funds in the amount of $1,279,000 are being obligated at time of award. This contract was a sole-source acquisition. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (HR0011-23-C-0058).
