CLIN 0001 LABOR. THIS WORK SUPPORTS SEA-BASED X-BAND RADAR (SBX) MISSION INTEGRATION (MI) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE J-01 STATEMENT OF WORK. TASKS INCLUDE INTEGRATING DAILY OPERATIONS AND VESSEL MOVEMENTS, PLANNING SHIPYARD MAINTENANCE PERIODS, MANAGING CREW ROTATIONS, COORDINATING MATERIEL MOVEMENTS AND TEST EVENTS, AND OPERATING AND SUSTAINING SBX SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS (SATCOM) EQUIPMENT, THE MISSION SUPPORT COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK, THE VESSEL SECURITY SYSTEM, AND ADDITIONAL IT SYSTEMS. THE CONTRACTOR ALSO PROVIDES COMMUNICATION OPERATIONS AND INTEGRATION SUPPORT FOR THE ENTIRE SBX VESSEL, AS WELL AS PLANNING AND COORDINATION WITH EXTERNAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.

The total value of this contract is $75,156,963. Under this competitive follow-on contract, the contractor will provide communication operations and integration support for the entire SBX vessel. The work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama; and Honolulu, Hawaii, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 25, 2029.  This contract was competitively procured via publication on the government-wide point of entry SAM.gov website with three proposals received.  Fiscal 2025 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $6,000,000 are being obligated at time of award. The Missile Defense Agency, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity (HQ0862-25-C-0001).
