Title
Implementation of Impulsive Energy Deposition
Abstract
In the proposed Phase II effort, we will ground-test Energy Deposition architectures, identified in our Phase I effort as suitable for Phase IIB/III flight-testing. Our proposed Phase II effort will characterize the identified hardware, develop the flight-test package design, and lay the groundwork for the flight-tests themselves, determining and corroborating data to be collected, as well as modeling the anticipated flight-test and operational benefits/performance. Research Objective
The goal of phase II is to continue the R&D efforts initiated in Phase I. Funding is based on the results achieved in Phase I and the scientific and technical merit and commercial potential of the project proposed in Phase II.
