Abstract
OptTek Systems, Inc. (OptTek) will employ our deep experience with model optimization, analysis, and fitting to provide solutions for benchmarking differences in results from different modeling and test sources. In this project the team will also calibrate lower fidelity modeling and simulation (M&S) tools to provide results that more closely match results from tests and higher-fidelity models. This will allow analysts to understand where results from lower-fidelity models closely align with trusted results and where they do not. When faster running tools can be calibrated to provide closely matching results for certain use cases, this will allow Missile Defense System (MDS) analysts to use these less expensive to run, faster models to perform meaningful, trusted analysis much more quickly than can be done today relying solely on more expensive, slower running, higher-fidelity models and tests.
