Government Description
This contract provides for the production and delivery of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) interceptors for lots 9 and 10, including one-shot devices and associated production support efforts. The work includes manufacturing of components such as booster motors, seeker module assemblies, thrust vector assemblies, batteries, ground support equipment, and specialized hardware like shrouds, snubber dampers, and connectors. Additional tasks involve integration of ground modernization equipment, obsolescence management, and support for both U.S. Government and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) requirements. The contract also covers the production and delivery of THAAD ground equipment including launchers, THAAD Fire Control and Communication (TFCC), Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE), heavy expanded mobility tactical trucks (HEMTTS), and a range of hardware and assemblies such as bulkheads, shells, canisters, cable assemblies, antennas, and various electronic and mechanical subcomponents, as well as life of need obsolescence mitigation, qualification testing, and first article inspection.
