Provides, operates, and maintains a trained and qualified armed security officer force to protect NBAF campus assets and ensure the safety of personnel. Key tasks include conducting 24/7 patrols of all areas including buildings, facilities, fence lines, and laboratory areas; performing access control for personnel and vehicles; operating screening technologies for explosives or weapons; inspecting personal belongings and vehicles; monitoring compliance with visitor policies; providing project management oversight; ensuring personnel are trained in incident command procedures, firearms handling, cpr, and first aid; and maintaining records of training certifications.
