Government Description
Four (4) intermediate level GIS analysts to support the region 5 ecoplanning staff. The analysts will provide technical and analytical support for the development, streamlining, and implementation of workflows to prepare and process spatially-explicit datasets supporting nepa analysis for vegetation and fuel management projects, national forest monitoring, plan revision and amendment, Emergency Action Determinations (EAD), post-fire rapid assessments, fire suppression operations, and other emergency activities. Responsibilities also include developing tabular summaries of geospatial data, creating internal and public-facing experience builders, story maps, dashboards, arcgis online web maps, and other web-oriented products, as well as extracting, compiling, and evaluating the integrity of datasets from sources such as the USDA forest service enterprise data warehouse.
