Engineering Research and Consulting Inc., Huntsville, Alabama, has been awarded an $82,153,023 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research in Propulsion Sciences III. Contractor will provide for on-site research and development to the Air Force Research Laboratory across a wide spectrum of propulsion-related areas. Work will be performed at Edwards Air Force Base, California, and is expected to be complete by Jan. 31, 2020. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition; one offer was received. Fiscal 2015 research, development, test and engineering funds in the amount of $2,848,816 are being obligated at the time of award.
