Apr 2026: Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Meadows, Illinois, has been awarded a $30,617,137 modification (P00172) to previously awarded (FA8615-17-C-6047) for F-16 Integrated Viper Electronic Warfare Suite Electronic Warfare Radio Frequency Compatibility Spiral 1 development phase completion effort. This modification provides for an increase in flight test releases and software development requirements. Work will be performed in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2027. Fiscal 2025 research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $20,000,000 are being obligated at the time of award. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $1,819,950,480. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
