Omitron Inc., Beltsville, Maryland, was awarded a $46,464,906 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for modernization activities for space command and control operational technologies. This contract provides for the creation of a scalable command and control red IP overlay mission network to transport space domain awareness and command and control data. Work will be performed at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California; Peterson SFB, Colorado; Schriever SFB, Colorado; Navy Support Facility-Dahlgren, Virginia; and Yokota Air Force Base, Japan, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 29, 2029. This contract was a sole source acquisition. Fiscal 2024 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $1,000,000; and fiscal 2024 research and development funds in the amount of $11,192,000, are being obligated at the time of award.
