GE Aviation Systems LLC, Grand Rapids, Michigan, was awarded an $8,522,008 cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for network security administrator certification of T-CORE GEN3 3U Virtual Path Cross-Connect Circuit Card Assembly software and hardware. This contract provides for design, development, fabrication, evaluation, demonstration, and delivery of a T-CORE based prototype circuit card assembly of a modified AEGIS system. Work will be performed at Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 27, 2026. This contract was a competitive acquisition and two offers were received. Fiscal 2023 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $319,660 are being obligated at time of award. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, New York, is the contracting activity (FA8750-23-C-1516).
