Jan 2015: Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Northrop Grumman Information Systems, Herndon, Virginia, has been awarded a firm-fixed-price $50,304,260 modification (P00024) to exercise the option on previously awarded contract FA8726-13-C-0001 for the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node E-11A platform. The contractor will provide comprehensive tasks and provide personnel, facilities, aircraft subsystems and support equipment. Work will be performed at Kandahar Air Base, Afghanistan and Wichita, Kansas, and is expected to be complete by Jan. 23, 2016. Fiscal year 2015 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $50,304,260 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity.
