Government Description
Cobra dane provides system sustainment support to the Program Management Office (PMO) for the an/FPS-108 Cobra Dane (CD) radar life-cycle management at eareckson air station, shemya, Alaska. Includes conducting independent evaluations of ongoing and future algorithm studies, providing technical oversight for upgrades of major radar subsystems, and supporting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities such as life cycle planning and obsolescence management. Additional tasks include preparing risk assessments, updating the Supportability Analysis Report (SAR), maintaining capability for program test and evaluation activities, identifying Reliability, Availability, And Maintainability (RAM) issues, assisting in program planning and financial management, developing acquisition strategies, providing technical advisory support for proposal evaluations, delivering subject matter expertise on CD systems, and facilitating transition periods at contract award and end of performance.
