Aug 2020: General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., Poway, California, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $188,866,819 undefinitized contract action for Belgium MQ-9B SkyGuardian procurement.  This contract provides for four MQ-9B unmanned air vehicles, two Certifiable Ground Control Stations, spares and support equipment.  Work will be performed in Poway, California, and is expected to be completed March 31, 2024.  This contract involves Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Belgium and is the result of a sole-source acquisition.  FMS funds in the amount of $94,341,260 are being obligated at the time of award.  Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8689-20-C-2013).
