Abstract
Attollo will develop a software-based, hardware?accelerated dual-mode SAL/SWIR algorithm development platform that can leverage the latest in hardware AI/ML and GPU acceleration using an embedded application processor (AP) instead of an FPGA. Attollo will create the high-bandwidth hardware connection to the AP and develop the low?level hardware abstraction interface libraries that will allow algorithm developers to easily interface to the sensor. Attollo will also design and integrate a rugged, dual?FOV lens to enable NFOV long?range passive seeking in addition to WFOV SAL seeking with a single sensor. Attollo will host algorithm developer code on the development platforms and make them available to other Primes for integration into next?generation precision guided munitions.
Research Objective
The goal of phase II is to continue the R&D efforts initiated in Phase I. Funding is based on the results achieved in Phase I and the scientific and technical merit and commercial potential of the project proposed in Phase II.
