Title
Software Integrity Platform
Abstract
To address the Air Force s need to reinforce the cybersecurity of our software supply chain, in Phase II, D&G Analytics proposes to advance our commercial platform analysis engine to encompass 1) software repository integration 2) third-party application analysis and 3) deployment for on-prem/air-gapped environment. This will improve the readiness and enable warfighters with realtime software integrity checks by automating the inspection of all third-party applications. D&G Analytics Software Integrity Platform (SIP) is a preventative control for third-party software supply chain security by automatically and continuously detecting latent threats embedded in third-party software applications as well as subsequent software updates before deployment authorization approval. The Phase II effort will complete with the development to automate inspection of common USAF s software distribution workflows which will be operationalized in an air-gapped environment at the end of Phase II. The adaptation is expected to reach TRL 7 at the end of Phase II and D&G Analytics will develop a plan for future development and commercialization of this platform in Phase III.
Research Objective
The goal of phase II is to continue the R&D efforts initiated in Phase I. Funding is based on the results achieved in Phase I and the scientific and technical merit and commercial potential of the project proposed in Phase II.
