High Delta-V Space Vehicle for Persistent Orbital Tracking and Rapidly Responsive Space Operations
Abstract
The intention of this proposal is to advance the technology readiness of Portal's highly mobile space vehicle, named Supernova. This proposal will involve the integration and qualification of the first Supernova spacecraft for defense customers. Specifically the proposal's efforts involve research and development to mature key systems of the Supernova spacecraft and then integrate those subsystems in preparation for a flight demonstration of the space vehicle.
Research Objective
The goal of phase II is to continue the R&D efforts initiated in Phase I. Funding is based on the results achieved in Phase I and the scientific and technical merit and commercial potential of the project proposed in Phase II.
