Title
ActionLogics: Modernizing the Air ForceÆs Recruitment and Retention Through Mobile Engagement
Abstract
The Department of the Air Force (DAF) struggles to hire and retain skilled Airmen and civilian personnel to fill mission-critical roles such as pilots, cyber security and the trades. Limited numbers of recruiters cannot actively reach and engage recruits and job candidates, resulting in lost leads and failure to meet recruiting quotas. Current command climate surveys are unable to actively monitor organizational morale and attitudes in real-time, resulting in talent flight in critical skills. To address this challenge, Cravety proposes its ActionLogics platform to combine behavioral analytics and mobile automation to enable the DAF to better engage, recruit, and retain critical talent. ActionLogics is a SaaS-based, mobile solution that combines behavioral science and modern technology to better engage recruits and Airmen, improving recruitment and retention. It utilizes the Social Needs And Rapport - (SONAR) model to leverage behavioral science to consistently nudge end users through their mobile phones toward the next best action of any given part of either the candidate or employee journey. Cravey proposes an R/R&D feasibility study to determine how to modify and adapt ActionLogics to enable recruiters and commanders to better engage with and recruit and/or retain top talent.
Research Objective
The goal of phase I is to establish the technical merit, feasibility, and commercial potential of proposed R&D efforts and determine the quality of performance of the small business awardee organization.
