Title
Multi-spectral Obfuscation Transceiver (MOT) for 5G and Other Technologies in AF DCGS Next Gen Enterprise
Related Solicitation
Abstract
Our proposal consists of two major components a physical Multi-spectral Obfuscation Transceiver (MOT) and a virtual Digital Twin Obfuscation Transceiver (DTOT). This is an innovative, highly adaptable, secure, survivable, and scalable solution that can be deployed in various configurations in both friendly and over contested space. We are teamed with AT&T on this project. MOT: The MOT is a self-contained box that features transceivers for 5G wireless, Satellite, Microwave (all in radio spectrum) and Free Space Optics/Laser (FSO/FSL) (in optical spectrum). It has supporting DISA-approved routers, switches, hardware encryption module, on-board computer and power pack. The MOT is capable of transmitting and receiving a signal on one or more of these channels simultaneously. The MOT may be deployed in Land-Fixed, Mobile, Aerial or Space-based configurations. DTOT: This is a Digital Twin that can emulate and direct an individual MOT or a swarm of MOTs in a field configuration. The DTOT has machine learning to direct a MOT to sense and adapt its communication payload between the channels. For example, if the radio channels are jammed, it will direct the MOT to switch to the optical channel all with the overall goal of maintaining continuous communication in a mission.
Research Objective
The goal of phase I is to establish the technical merit, feasibility, and commercial potential of proposed R&D efforts and determine the quality of performance of the small business awardee organization.
