Dec 2019: Sierra Nevada Corp., Sparks, Nevada, has been awarded a $22,885,263 firm-fixed-price and cost reimbursement, no fee order FA8509-20-F-0014 against the previously award contract FA8509-19-D-0001 for the MC-130J Airborne Mission Networking program Low Rate Initial Production.  This order provides for the procurement of production kits, spares and weapon system trainer.  Work will be performed at Centennial, Colorado, and is expected to be completed by Mar. 19, 2021.  Fiscal 2019 procurement funds in the amount of $2,782,479; and fiscal 2020 funds in the amount of $20,102,784 are being obligated at the time of award.  The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity.
