AFIMSC IT SUPPORT SERVICE PROVIDES SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS (SMES), TELECOMMUNICATIONS, AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SUPPORT TECHNICIANS FOR THE AIR FORCE INSTALLATION AND MISSION SUPPORT CENTER (AFIMSC). INCLUDES COLLABORATING WITH CUSTOMERS AND OTHER AGENCIES TO DETERMINE METHODOLOGIES FOR INSTALLING TELEPHONE SERVICE AND ASSESSING THE APPROPRIATENESS OF MODERATE EQUIPMENT CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS. SERVICES ALSO INVOLVE HELP DESK COORDINATION AND PROVIDING TECHNICAL AND MANAGEMENT DIRECTION OVER THE COMPUTER SUPPORT TECHNICAL SERVICES TEAM.
