Platform for Active Protection and Reconnaissance (PAPR)
Abstract
This project extends a prior effort with new deliverables, adapting the Picogrid Platform for the needs of Range Operations, Security Forces, and other DAF end users. The continued optimization of the Platform for Active Protection & Reconnaissance (PAPR) will include improvements in mobile user experience, improved location of threat detections, revamping artificial intelligence algorithms, and upgrades of the PAPR hardware.
Research Objective
The goal of phase II is to continue the R&D efforts initiated in Phase I. Funding is based on the results achieved in Phase I and the scientific and technical merit and commercial potential of the project proposed in Phase II.
