Government Description
Convert old steam plant, facility 655. This project involves a full renovation of both interior and exterior elements and building services at facility 655, a historic building on the Air Combat Command (ACC) campus at Joint Base Langley - Eustis (JBLE), Virginia. Includes installation of an all-new roof system, replacement of the HVAC system, overhaul of plumbing and electrical power and distribution systems, rebuilding the electrical room, provision of new concrete flooring, removal of all remnants of the old steam plant including steam stacks, demolition and reconstruction of a building addition, removal of hazardous materials, repair of exterior walls and structural members, and exterior site work including the addition of driving barriers for parking sectioning. The renovated facility will create office space for the ACC Civil Engineering (CE) staff and bring the building up to contemporary standards.
