Concurrent Technologies Corp., Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was awarded a maximum $17,995,653 contract award for large capacity energy storage. This contract provides for a demonstration of new and emerging advanced energy storage and energy efficiency technologies to meet military needs. Work will be performed at the Clear Space Force Station, Alaska, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 3, 2030. This contract was a competition acquisition, and five offerors were received. Fiscal 2025 research, development test and evaluation funds in the amount of $2,001,349 are being obligated at the time of award.
