RBR Technologies, Odenton, Maryland, has been awarded a $9,292,852 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development. This contract provides for the analysis of current challenges to the development of flexible approaches and techniques toward autonomous and automated reasoning so recommended research and development environment and platform improvements can be implemented, as well as investigation of current data storage, management, and recall ability in the current research and development environment, platform, and testing environment to determine improved approach to exploiting data for artificial intelligence and autonomy algorithm development, and the identification and integration of commercial tools and products into environments and platforms for rapid application and leverage in solving military problems of interest while also providing management of platforms to ensure all updates, upgrades, improvements meet risk management framework. Work will be performed at Dayton, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by June 27, 2027. This award is the result of a sole source acquisition. Fiscal 2024 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $575,000 are being obligated at the time of award.
