Overview
Government Description
To establish and support the Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) for in-country support of the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) (FMS case: sr-d-qds). Includes acquisition, installation, and maintenance of production tooling and repair support equipment, assembly of MIDS Integration Test SETS (MITS) and associated equipment, retrofitting and servicing of MIDS link 16 terminals, and required testing and validation of retrofitted and serviced equipment within the IMF prior to return to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF). Additional tasks include storage of MIDS link 16 equipment awaiting servicing, coordination with in-kingdom comsec custodians, monitoring and replenishment of spare parts and consumables, and asset management and tracking of MIDS link 16 equipment. Up to 16 scheduled visits by a Field Service Engineer (FSE) will be conducted per U.S. Government direction to perform these services.
