Government Description
Award of contract to manage and operate the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Work performed under this contract includes technical services for strategic sustainability planning, greenhouse gas emissions inventory and services, transportation assessment, and research related to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. The contract also supports non-federal work for others, such as feasibility studies of renewable energy systems for national parks, and provides a mechanism for interagency agreements supporting laboratory management research and best practices. Additional activities include program guidance for equipment and operations, as well as support for the laboratories for the 21ST century program.
