Alcova-boysen thermopolis-worland tap OPGW. Includes installation of 121 miles of optical overhead ground wire (OPGW) on existing 115-KV transmission lines, removal of 121 miles of steel overhead ground wire, installation of steel angle bedrails and anti-split pole bands to existing wood pole suspension structures, installation of underground fiber optic cable, splice boxes and associated fiber equipment, installation of spiral dampers, and performing fiber splicing and testing. The work requires providing labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete the installation and associated tasks.
