Government Description
IN FULFILLMENT OF THE NASA JOHNSON SPACE CENTER OFFICE OF EDUCATION INITIATIVES, OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY (OSU), AS AN AMERICAN INDIAN AND ALASKA-NATIVE (AIAN) MINORITY SERVING INSTITUTION, WILL COUPLE ITS COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION WITH ITS EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE OF DELIVERING NASA-UNIQUE, STEM AND AEROSPACE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. THROUGH THE NASA STEM PATHWAY ACTIVITIES CONSORTIUM FOR EDUCATION (NSPACE) PROJECT, OSU WILL PROMOTE AND DELIVER NASA S UNIQUE PORTFOLIO OF EXPERIENTIAL STEM EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, WHILE MAINTAINING A FOCUS TO VASTLY INCREASE THE PARTICIPATION OF CULTURALLY DIVERSE GROUPS AND MINORITY SERVING INSTITUTIONS. TO FULFILL THESE GOALS, OSU HAS PARTNERED WITH THE TEXAS A&M SYSTEM; THE OSU CENTER FOR SOVEREIGN NATIONS; LANGSTON UNIVERSITY; NORTHERN OKLAHOMA COLLEGE, AN AIANSI COMMUNITY COLLEGE; THE OKLAHOMA 4-H FOUNDATION; AND THE TECHNOLOGY FOR LEARNING CONSORTIUM.
