Overview
Government Description
Geostationary extended observations (GEOXO) atmospheric composition (ACX) is a new instrument for the GEOXO weather satellite series. ACX is a hyperspectral, uv through visible imaging spectrometer used to measure environmental data as part of a 3-AXIS stabilized, geostationary weather satellite system. Work includes designing, analyzing, developing, fabricating, integrating, testing, verifying, and supporting the launch of the ACX instrument, supplying and maintaining Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and supporting mission operations at the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF). Additional tasks include conducting special study tasks for risk reduction and mitigation activities, and the use of high-speed wire and mechanical components such as diffusers and ddma heraeus subs for various ACX and ocx models.
