Government Description
Geoxo sounder instrument. Includes designing, analyzing, developing, fabricating, integrating, calibrating, testing, verifying, evaluating, supporting launch, supplying and maintaining the instrument Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and supporting mission operations at the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF). Deliverables include an Engineering Development Model (EDM), flight models FM-1 and FM-2 (with option for FM-3 spare and parts), Flight Software Development Environment (FSDE), Instrument Hardware Simulator (IHS), Instrument Software Simulator (ISS) executable, Electrical System Test Equipment (ESTE), lifting/handling fixtures, shipping/storage containers/purge carts, alignment drill templates, and required documentation and reports. Work will be performed onsite at the contractor's facilities, gsfc, and kennedy space flight center.
