Government Description
Mission systems engineering and payload and instrument systems engineering services as well as guidance, navigation, and control systems services, which includes Guidance, Navigation And Control (GN&C) systems engineering and attitude control systems. Work performed includes developing fault management plans for gsfc payloads (including drams and draco), presenting fault management plan summaries at the drams icdr, managing requirements flowdown and compliance for the draco payload, maintaining draco requirements compliance matrices, assisting with incorporation of draco requirements into doors, managing the change control process for draco requirements, and overseeing the planning and execution of the draco V&V campaign. Additional tasks include coordinating electronics support and development for planetary science projects such as dragonfly drams, moma, and davinci at the University Of Michigan Space Physics Research Laboratory (UM SPRL) to align with pspd priorities, as well as providing thermal engineering support for the codex project including design, analysis, and testing using thermal desktop modeling software and assisting in thermal balance testing and documentation.
