Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) Evolution and Development (EED)-3 EOSDIS EED-3 services. Includes continued improvement, reliability, availability, functionality, operability, and performance of hardware, software, and cloud-based systems that provide science data management for the Earth Science Data and Information System (ESDIS) project. Tasks performed encompass maintenance and repair of computer hardware, maintenance of computer software, and support for cloud-based and on-premise systems, including enterprise software, storage solutions, and network infrastructure. Work includes maintenance and support for a wide range of computer hardware (such as hpe, dell emc, quantum, cisco, juniper, and Raytheon systems), enterprise and specialized software (including red hat enterprise linux, vmware vcenter, splunk, RSA securid, atlassian bitbucket, confluence, jira, docker, puppet, snyk, and lucid suite), and network devices, as well as hardware and software support for storage, virtualization, and authentication solutions.
