OPERATION AND SUPPORT OF THE CTEP PROTOCOL AND INFORMATION OFFICE (PIO). THE CONTRACTOR SUPPORTS THE CANCER THERAPY EVALUATION PROGRAM (CTEP) BY COORDINATING ALL ADMINISTRATIVE ASPECTS RELATED TO CLINICAL TRIAL DOCUMENT REVIEW, INCLUDING TRACKING PROTOCOLS ELECTRONICALLY, ABSTRACTING INFORMATION FROM PROTOCOL-RELATED DOCUMENTS, AND PERFORMING QUALITY CONTROL CHECKS. ADDITIONAL TASKS INCLUDE PREPARING AND DISTRIBUTING PROTOCOL REVIEW MATERIALS, SUPPORTING MEETINGS SUCH AS THE INVESTIGATIONAL DRUG BRANCH (IDB) AND PROTOCOL REVIEW COMMITTEE (PRC), TRACKING OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY WORKING GROUP (OEWG) TIMELINES, AND MAINTAINING ELECTRONIC STORAGE OF PROTOCOL DOCUMENTS IN COMPLIANCE WITH ESTABLISHED STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOPS). THE CONTRACTOR ALSO COLLABORATES WITH NCI STAFF AND CONTRACTORS TO ENSURE EFFICIENT PROTOCOL REVIEW PROCESSES AND MAINTAINS UP-TO-DATE ELECTRONIC REPORTS DOCUMENTING THE STATUS OF EACH PROTOCOL.
