Includes research and development activities for medical countermeasures (MCM) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological And Nuclear (CBRN) agents, pandemic influenza, and emerging infectious diseases that threaten the U.S. Civilian population. The project supports advanced development of mcms for influenza and other emerging respiratory viruses and encourages capabilities in modeling, visual analytics, and early notification to act, control, and treat. Work includes the development of tools, analyses, modeling activities, visual analytics capabilities, applications, and tools to support barda’s product development work, with a focus on demonstrating the value of visualization and visual analytics over traditional data analytics.
