Overview
Government Description
Provide mandatory oceanic High Frequency (HF) voice communication to flight operations in FAA oceanic airspace. In addition to HF voice communication, the work includes providing Aeronautical Mobile Communication Services (AMCS) and engineering and technical support services, such as supporting technical upgrades or refreshes, network expansion, system testing, updates to message formats, and operational changes related to AMCS. The contractor must supply qualified technical and engineering personnel to complete assigned tasks and meet mandatory requirements including prior successful execution of HF and Very High Frequency (VHF) voice relay of air traffic control clearances, advisories, requests, and waypoint position reports for aircraft movements over oceanic airspace using the Major World Air Route Area (MWARA) network for at least five years during normal and emergent conditions.
