Government Description
DEVCOM SC Army engineering and scientific program support is provided across multiple divisions including the Aerial Delivery Division (ADD), Engineering Systems Division (ESD), and Combat Feeding Division (CFD). The contractor conducts studies, investigations, analyses, assessments, tests, and evaluations of military equipment and systems, provides engineering and scientific staff support, assists project officers in acquisition activities, develops system engineering plans, conducts research on combat rations and food technologies, provides drafting support for technical documents, performs environmental testing of hardware, manages lab operations for the combat feeding division, and ensures compliance with military standards during testing. The contractor also coordinates and assists with evaluation of various programs and engineering assessments, including government inspection, testing, development, and continuous modifications, and provides on-site base and supplemental support for key projects. The contractor does not participate in government decision-making processes or document approvals.
