Government Description
The contractor's support is needed to sustain the continued growth and evolution of occs activities in application development, medical vocabulary control processing, information systems, infrastructure support, and information dissemination. In addition, the contractor provides qualified and experienced personnel to support development, programming, and maintenance efforts for occs projects and initiatives at the National Library of Medicine (NLM). Tasks include application development and operational maintenance in the health information, medical vocabulary/terminology, and library business domains; system analysis; web development; app programming; database administration; it service management systems support; agile methodology implementation; section 508 standards compliance; and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) expertise. The work also requires domain knowledge in medical subject headings, medical devices, structured product labeling, as well as experience in it research and emerging technologies such as ai and microservices.
