Government Description
Logistics tools suite - hq AFMC provides comprehensive logistics Information System (IS) development and maintenance support, as well as Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on related business processes and system functionality. The contractor IS responsible for strengthening financial controls for transportation programs, developing shipping and packing tools, maintaining the Logistics Tools Suite (LTS), managing cybersecurity compliance, administering production and test environments, managing system interfaces and agreements, optimizing data exchange operations, and developing web-enabled budget analysis tools for transportation expenditure data. These efforts support the enhancement of transportation, distribution, and funding processes to maximize efficiency within the Department of the Air Force (DAF) supply chain and achieve Financial Improvement And Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance.
