Government Description
Cyber security services per agency procedures. The contractor is transitioning the fcc from a traditional cybersecurity service model to a managed cybersecurity services model to safeguard critical information infrastructure, including reducing exposure to cyber risks, ensuring priority response and recovery to threats, and maintaining shared situational awareness. Tasks performed include analyzing fcc cybersecurity hardware and software effectiveness, reviewing cybersecurity trends, providing nsoc operations support, conducting vulnerability assessments, ensuring NIST risk management framework and fisma compliance, continuous monitoring of fcc systems, managing cybersecurity training, developing it security documentation, and supporting the migration of services to the eis contract vehicle. Additional work includes delivering a Program Support and Management Plan (PSMP), developing a staffing plan, ensuring 24/7 coverage, implementing a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), providing incident assessment and response, conducting threat hunting, managing privacy compliance, and facilitating training and awareness programs.
