Uniformed business office support services. Provides functional expertise, analytical support, and project management for Uniform Business Office (UBO) revenue cycle management activities, including oversight and guidance for UBO cost recovery programs and monitoring billing and collection performance. Additional work includes facilitating the development of Department of Defense (DOD) medical billing and reimbursement rates for all DOD military treatment facilities and civilian payers, as well as assisting with the development and implementation of the UBO communication and education plan, managing the UBO website and content, newsletter, training center, and helpdesk. Services and material are also provided to support the data quality management control office within the cost accounting division, revenue cycle management branch, Defense Health Agency (DHA).
