Advisory and assistance support services for Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) combatant command, command and control division, United States strategic command (USSTRATCOM), and the 557TH weather wing. The contractor supports and advises program managers to ensure programs conform to current DOD directives (including 5000 and 8000 series), NDAA section 804, and approved acquisition baselines, and provides acquisition compliance support, assistance in managing hardware/software resources for operations and maintenance, independent analysis for life-cycle planning and execution, evaluation of software and hardware plans, and monitoring architectures for compliance with network centricity and other directives. Additional work includes supporting Integrated Product Team (IPT) efforts such as tracking progress for modernization and maintenance programs, identifying requirements, developing management approaches, supporting special studies, and tracking compliance with schedules using standard software programs. The contractor also assists in analyzing policy issues/guidance from the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology And Logistics (USD at&L), saf/aq, and PEO impacting programs, supports the coordination and integration of ipts, the long range plan, and related vision processes, prepares reports and briefings, develops IPT agendas and meeting minutes, facilitates delivery of Government Furnished Information (GFI) to vendors, manages government receipt of vendor deliverables including software and documentation, and ensures control and accountability for classified material.
