Government Description
Ginnie mae Mortgage Backed Securities Issuance and Bond Administration (MBSIBA) provides contractor services to support the government national mortgage association’s (GINNIE MAE) Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) programs. Includes Pool Processing Agent and Central Paying and Transfer Agent (PPA/CPTA) services, platinum trustee and multiclass information agent services, infrastructure hosting and Operations And Maintenance (O&M) of ginnie mae systems and applications, enhancements and integrated software development, next generation support, transition services, and optional data center migration services. The scope also covers granting and managing access to ginnie mae applications, processing mortgage pool and loan information, delivering issued pools to the federal reserve for settlement, maintaining a central registry of securities, acting as collection and paying agent, providing a fedramp-compliant data center facility, implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) and continuity of operations (COOP) plans, supporting audits and compliance activities, program participant training, and maintaining records and archives. Additional work includes security monitoring and enhancement support, imaging, it consulting, and technology product reselling.
