Government Description
This award is for the DHS backfill project located at federal office building 201 varick street, New York, NY 10014. The project involves full construction services to renovate approximately 147,000 usable square feet of space on multiple floors for the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration And Customs Enforcement–Homeland Security Investigations (DHS ice-hsi), including tenant spaces and building common areas such as corridors. Includes restacking the building to provide secure vehicle access, separate secure internal vertical transportation, and constructing all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, and specialty equipment such as a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), roof-top generators, escalators, and elevators. The general contractor is responsible for providing all labor and materials necessary for a complete build out as described in the construction documents.
