INCLUDES GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATIONS, GRADING, ELECTRICAL POWER IMPROVEMENTS (NORMAL AND EMERGENCY), BONDING, UPS INSTALLATION, BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS) INTERFACES, NEW AND UPGRADED HVAC SYSTEMS, RECONFIGURATION, EXPANSION, AND RENOVATION OF EXISTING SPACES, COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE ENHANCEMENTS, PHYSICAL SECURITY UPGRADES, CAMPUS-WIDE FIBER INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES WITHIN AND BETWEEN BUILDINGS, CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW DATA CENTER, HAZARDOUS MATERIAL ABATEMENT, AND REMOVAL OF EXISTING STRUCTURES. TASKS ALSO INVOLVE EXCAVATION AND TRENCHING FOR NEW UNDERGROUND FIBER BACKBONE ROUTING, REINFORCED CONCRETE DUCT BANK CONSTRUCTION WITH ACCESS POINTS, AND UPGRADES IN IMPACTED BUILDINGS (1, 6, 7, 8, 11, 14, AND 18) INCLUDING RELOCATION AND RENOVATION OF ROOMS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS CLOSETS, ALL IN COMPLIANCE WITH VA INFRASTRUCTURE STANDARD FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPACES (ISTS) V4.0.
