Government Description
Improve central utility plant. Includes replacement of the heat recovery system in the boiler room, replacing water softener copper piping with stainless steel and adding a polisher for redundancy, reconfiguring the non-return valve at boiler #3, replacing the corroded condensate return/surge tank, extending the catwalk above the boiler room for air handler access, replacing windows with operable louvers, automating back-up pumps and fuel oil system controls, integrating the fuel tank system with existing controls, separating condenser pumps onto dedicated power sources, replacing condenser pumps and installing a secondary water supply to cooling towers, upgrading facility-wide lutron lighting controls, adding ladders/stairs and extending catwalks in the chiller room, and replacing failing variable frequency drives (VFDS) and industrial water pumps.
