Con project 648-20-116 corrects electrical deficiencies at the Portland VA Medical Center (VAMC). The project involves replacing, modifying, or upgrading existing electrical power distribution equipment and associated components to address deficiencies identified in the wiley-wilson arc-flash report. Includes replacing or adjusting overcurrent protective devices, providing building lightning protection, replacing switchgear in buildings 1 and 11, replacing the building 11/clc generator, and conducting facility-wide ground resistance testing in accordance with VHA directive 1028-8.J(6)E. Upon completion of electrical work, a facility-wide arc-flash hazard risk assessment with reporting and labeling will be performed per specification 26 05 73.
