Replace steam line B115/118/400. Includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to complete new construction at the dayton VA medical center, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements as shown on drawings and specifications. Tasks involve removal and replacement of asphalt and concrete, installation of new precast sidewalk caps, removal and replacement of 4" High Pressure Supply (HPS) and 2" High Pressure Return (HPR) steam pipes, stanchions, hangars, rollers, and expansion joints, installation of new insulation on steam pipes, installation of a new sump pump with electric to building 115, cleaning shallow trenches, replacement of direct bury line, testing newly installed high-pressure steam pipes, and installation of three new ventilation turbines. Additional requirements include field verification of all measurements, minor excavation, road replacements to Ohio Department of Transportation specifications, installation of security and silt fencing, and grading and grass seeding after excavation.
